ABC I Spy Swap

I've been waiting to host this and decided I'm ready to jump into hosting another swap.

Here's the details.
I'd like to have the fabric mailed to me by June 6th. That should give us lots of time to shop. If I get everyone's fabric sooner, I'll send it then.

This is an ABC I-Spy swap.
Each person picks a letter, find a fabric for that letter (ie c-Cat, L-lizard, I-ice cream, A-apple etc).
Cut 26 5" squares (I know it's more yardage than 4" but then we get better pictures)
Send them to me
Once all 26 letters have been sent to me, I'll send you back a complete A-Z set.
Make a quilt, make a letter book...just have fun!
Leave a comment about what letter you want, block preference and your email!!

You are welcome to sign up for more than one letter.

Here's what we have so far-
(PS. If you're willing to take the tricky letter of X or Q, I'll add 20 extra I-Spy 4" squares from my stash to your alphabet package. I think there is xray animal fabric called xray animals, it has dentist animals holding up the xray of themselves. )

  1. I'd love to do this swap as long as it's okay if I mail my squares out the week of May 22nd. I'm going away for 2 week, but I figure some people might need those weeks to shop and cut their fabric anyway.

I'd like to take letter D! I'm guessing that because I'm the first to comment, none of the letter have been chose yet?

    Thanks!!!

  7. I would be in, but need to know the time frame, as I'm in Canada and it takes longer for me to get and mail fabric. I'm fine with any letter or size square. Thanks for letting me play

  13. First I would like to clarify: we do a five inch square that contains a picture of the object that starts with that letter, correct? We don't hAve to cut out the fabric in the shape of the letter, correct? (your 2 photos do so, so that 's why I asked)

If this is correct then I could take v or g.

  19. I would love to sign up. I'm just not exactly sure how it works. You cut 26 5in squares, send them to you, then you ship 26 different letter squares back to me? Just pay shipping?

    Hedgerjune @ aol .com

  20. You pay the shipping both ways. I'll collect all the letters and send you back A-Z fabric.

  21. I'll take L. (I'm Stacey C.'s friend.) I might be able to take a 2nd letter, but I'll have to go to the craft store & see what I can find. I don't want to commit & then have to special order something. I KNOW I can do L. My personal email is sgoetsch at cox dot net Thanks!
